JD Law Students Write a Blog

Filed under law school blog review, January 18th, 2011 by admin

It is interesting to know what the thoughts of law students, whether in the JD program or not, are like. The JD Law Students blog for the Vermont Law School is a compilation of students’ commentaries on what life is like at law school. Though the tone is often formal, the reader can catch vivid glimpses of scenes that can be associated with law school in real life. In this particular blog, the Vermont Law school life is explored:

Life in Vermont has been fabulous and Vermont Law School has been quite the place of friendship and the usual challenges of studies. Overall, I have enjoyed my classes and the lectures on public citizenship organized exclusively for first year law students.

If you want to know more about being a student in Vermont Law School, this is the perfect site to check out.

The high points of the blog

The blog is a great example of a law school online journal because several points of view are being explored. The entries talk about law school but in a very personal way. One student actually writes about being grateful for the Thanksgiving holidays because she is getting a much needed break before finals. Prospective students can start living the law school life through these vivid entries.

Suggestions for improvement

Together with the vivid entries, photos should be posted. If it is impossible for the students’ actual photos to be included in the blog, photos of the places they go to can be used. These are the places they go to for work, relaxation and plenty of other things related to or beyond law school.
