Last Minute Checks Before Submitting Your Application Essay
Here is the scenario: you are done with the final draft of the admission essay, and only need to do one final edit and proofreading. You approach your uncle and he said yes, he’ll do it. The problem is: on the day he proofread the essay, he had the mother of all hangovers. Result: he missed out (errors) more than he caught. Then you hand over the finished document, and that is that. You are out of the for consideration pile of applicants. The moral of the story: it’s not bad to ask somebody for help, but you need to do it yourself too.
